CHINA, Q'ing (Ch'ing) Dynasty, a series of relatively modern charms featuring the reverse of 'an Emperor at Peace', the obverses of the various rulers, Emperor Shi Zu (1644-1662), Shi Zong (1723-1735), Xuan Zong (1821-1850), Wen Zong (1851-1861), Mu Zong (1862-1874), De Zong (1875-1908), Puyi (1909-1912), round mother charm with square hole, 41mm, (Fang "Chinese Charms Art Religion and Folk Belief" No.98 - 103; cf.Thierry Amulets.., No.7 for type). Very fine. (7)
