WORLD MEDALS, Great Britain, lead pull (irregular, approx 22mm) of a miniature (15mm) version of the obverse of the Resolution and Adventure Medal, 1779 (BHM 258; Eimer 780); Captain James Cook, Middlesborough, 1979, in bronze (19mm), reverse Christmas bells in holly spray; Portugal, Great Explorers Series, by Gravarte of Lisbon, includes James Cook, Endeavour, 1768, in silver and in bronze (40mm), edge impressed '101/250' and '146/1000'; USA, H.M.Bark Endeavour Lt James Cook, Endeavour North American Tour, undated, in gilt bronze (38mm); other explorer related medals (3), uniface in gilt bronze (37mm) with concentric circles on reverse, obverse designs include Captain James Cook 1768-1771, Stanley & Livingston 1871, Hillary & Tenzing 1953. The second medal toned, otherwise uncirculated. (8)
