SCOTLAND, Allanton School, 1861, medal for General Eminence handcrafted in silver (64mm), with scroll suspender, reverse inscribed, 'Gained/By/James Steele./High Newton.' Two small edge nicks on reverse, otherwise good very fine and rare.

Allanton and High Newton are both in the County of Ayrshire and Parish of Galston, Scotland.
