GERMANY, North, Nordhausen, post Frederick II (c.late 13th century), silver bracteate obv. crowned ruler facing holding cross and lis all within double dotted border, (See Sammlung Arthur Lobbecke Deutsche Brakteaten, Munster, 1974 No.736, Pl.29). Toned good very fine and rare.

Ex Baldwin's with ticket and previously from A.Cahn Sale (lot 722 and the find at Kachstradt).
