FRANCE, selection of 18th and 19th century documents, including Empire, receipt from the official Receiver of Liege for 193 francs dated 1808; a redemption of debt dated Liege 1810; a marriage contract dated 4th April 1782 between a bookseler of Amiens and his wife; another document from the department of calais? another drawm up before a Notary Royal of Hainaut province regarding a widow with no means of support dated 20th November 1831 just after Belgium became a seperate kingdom; selection of six early French visas dated 1858 for various European countries including Great Britain and Switzerland. Translations in English accompany the documents. Very good- extremely fine. (11)
