TRIO INCLUDES WWI PAIR TO CAMEL CORPS WIA: Queen's South Africa Medal 1899, (type 2 reverse), - five clasps - Cape Colony, Rhodesia, Orange Free State, Transvaal, South Africa 1902; British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal 1914-19. 73 Tpr: A.Holland S.Aus:Bushmen. on first medal, 2325 L-Cpl. A.F.Holland. Cml.Cps. A.I.F. on last two medals. All medals impressed. Court mounted on display board, good very fine.

Ex I.S.Wright (South Australia), 28 June 1994. Together with RAOB jewels in silver, one for Secretary inscribed on reverse, 'R.A.O.B. G.L.E./Presented to/Woodville Lodge No 25/Primo A.Holland/for Services as Secretary/Jan 1914-15', the other for Past Primo inscribed on reverse, 'R.A.O.B/G.L.E./Presented to/Primo A.Holland.for Services Rendered/as Worthy Primo of/the Woodville Lodge/Jany to April/1915'; also voided silver fob inscribed with initials 'TCH' with short chain. Albert Frederick Holland, railway employee, age 27 of Adelaide, born at Bath, England; Boer War: Enl.06Jan1900; served 220 days; Disch.14Aug1920; WWI AIF: now horse driver, age 41; Enl.05Jan1916 16/3LHR; TOS 1LHR 29May1916 Tel-el-Kebir; to Camel Corps 07Jul1916; TOS Imperial Camel Corps Abbassia 01Jul1916; TOS 3rd Anzac Imperial Camel Bde 11Nov1916 EFF; to L/Cpl 11Apr1917; WIA 05Jun1917 by bombs dropped at Sinai, Palestine, compound fracture of right thigh and wound to left tibia; Emb for Australia 12Nov1917; Disch.18Jun1918 at Keswick Barracks, South Australia as Medically Unfit.
