COUNTERMARKED TOKENS AND COINS, 'HF' twice on Ashton, 1863 penny; '60' either side of Gratten penny; 'T. Dick' on United Service penny (A.590); 'Franklin' twice on obverse of George IV halfcrown, 1825; 'Australian Numismatic Society' on Australia 1937 crown; Queen Street Wharf, Auckland, toll 6 pence on obverse of Ashton halfpenny, 1858 (S.170a); another but on both sides of Ashton halfpenny, holed in centre as issued (S.170c); Hall, plain letter pennies (2) cast in white metal (A.178, 179). Fair - extremely fine. (9)
