SOUTH AFRICA, East London, Municipal Office, 1d, 1880, in bronze, issued by the Municipality as a ferry token to cross the Buffalo River to West Bank (T.C44; M.346)(6). Municiple Tramways, blue celluloid or plastic token for 1/2d, undated but circa 1919-30 (T.C45; M.355). Fine - good very fine (7).

Ex W.J. Noble Collection, Sale 61B (lot 1578) and previously the first three and the last ex R.J.Ford (lot 910 part) Collection, the fourth ex J.C.Hardy Collection and the other two acquired in 1980's.
