BURMA, standard weight of the Burmese kings, the standing dog, opium weight issued 19th century, weight 12.93 grams corresponding to three quarter Kyat. (Robinson and Shaw, The Coins and Banknotes of Burma, Chapter 5, cf.pp.31-4 [figure 1-13, type not noted], cf.M.2836-2840 [pig series]). Very fine.
