SIGNIS RECEPT [D]EVICTIS GERM, large SC below, Germanicus standing left, right hand raised, holding legionary eagle in left hand, (S.1820, RIC 57, C.7, CBN 140, BMC 93) (illustrated); Gaius (Caligula), (A.D. 37-41), AE as, Rome mint, issued A.D. 40-41, (9.85 grams), obv. bare head of Caligula to left, around C CAESAR DIVI AVG PRON AVG P M TR P IIII P P, rev.
