CHINA, Chou Dynasty, Large 'Ch'i' series (from the Duchy of Ch'i during the Chou Dynasty), Warring States, pointed type, (c.476-221 B.C.), five characters knife money, obv. Ch'i - jian- ban- zhi- fa- hua (The authorized currency on the establishment), rev. Jih and ten, length 191 mms, (Coole 6402 Vol.5 p.289, Sch.44, TFP 40, Hartill 4.4s). Some green patination, extremely fine and very rare.
