CHINA, Chou Dynasty, Large 'Ch'i' series (from the Duchy of Ch'i during the Chou Dynasty), Warring States, pointed type, (c.476-221 B.C.), four characters knife money, obv. Chi-zhi-huan-hua (The authorized currency of 'Chi' State), rev. ten Fa or Huan and Kan, length 185 mms, (Coole 6314 Vol.5 p.238, cf.Sch.44, cf.TFP 42, Hartill 4.5). Some green patination, extremely fine and very rare.
