SHAH JAHAN I, (A.H. 1037-1068, A.D.1628-1658), round Gold mohur, (10.90 grams), struck at Akbarabad mint, issued A.H. 1044 (A.D. 1634-5), Regnal Year 7, obv. Kalima within a diamond border, margins around rev. Shah Jahan within diamond, date and Regnal date within diamond, mint name in third edge area lower left hand side, (Lucknow Museum 1804, cf.BMC 534, cf.Nagpur 517, cf.Indian Museum Calcutta 839, KM. SAC 258.1). Possibily mounted on edge (file mark), otherwise nearly extremely fine and very rare.
