AKBAR, (A.H. 963-1014, A.D.1556-1605), Gold mohur, (10.60 grams), struck in uncertain mint possibly Sihrind mint, issued A.H. 985 (A.D. 1577-8), obv. Kalima and date, rev. Akbar's name, and mint signature off flan, (BMC 65 same date and style, Punjab Museum Cat. -, Nagpur -, Indian Museum Calcutta -, cf.KM. SAC. 108). Short on flan on obverse and reverse, otherwise very fine, scarce.
