AKBAR, (A.H. 963-1014, A.D.1556-1605), Gold mohur, (10.60 grams), struck in Lahore mint, issued A.H. 978 (A.D. 1568-9), Lahore mint signature, obv. Kalima, rev. Akbar's name, date and mint signature, (cf.BMC 43, cf.Punjab Museum Cat. 154, cf.Nagpur 40, Indian Museum Calcutta -, KM. SAC. 106.4). Short on flan on obverse, nearly full on reverse, otherwise good fine, very rare, an unpublished date.
