CAMBAY, Hussain Yafar Khan, (A.H. 1257-1297, A.D. 1841-1880), in the name of Shah Alam II, silver rupee, regal year 3, 11.44 grams, this issue probably struck in 1844, (KM. Y.1). Very fine and an unpublished date.

Ex Stan Goron Collection with his ticket and Robert Senior by private treaty. $$ Cambay a port located at the Gulf of Cambay became a separate state from about 1730. Coins issued in the name of Shah Alam II were struck well into the 19th century.
