GALLIENUS, (A.D. 253-268), AE sestertius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 255-256, obv. laureate bust of Gallienus cuirassed to right, around IMP C P LIC GALLI[ENVS P F A]VG, rev. Fides standing facing head to left, holding two ensigns, around FIDES MILITVM, S C in field, (S.3009, RIC 214, C.240). Attractive light brown patina, with odd shape flan, very fine and rare.
