CLODIUS ALBINUS, (A.D. 195-197), AE dupondius or as, Rome mint, issued A.D. 194-5, obv. bare head to right, around D CL SEPT ALBIN CAES, rev. Saeculum Frugiferum standing standing to left, holding caduceus and trident, SAECVLO FRVGIFERO COS II around, SC across centre, (cf.S.1733, RIC 61). Weak legends, a very fine portrait, otherwise fine and very rare.
