COMMODUS, (A.D. 177-192), silver denarius, issued A.D. 191-2, Rome mint, obv. head to right of Commodus wearing lion skin, around [L AEL] AVREL COMM AVG P FEL, rev. club in wreath, across in three lines HER CVL/ RO MAN/AVGV, (S.1620A, RIC. 251, BMC 339). Has been cleaned, small scratch on reverse, otherwise good fine.
