PARTHIA, Kingdom of, Phraates IV, (38 - 2 B.C.), silver drachm, (4.03 grams), Laodicea mint, obv. head of Phraates IV to left with short pointed beard and wart on brow, wearing a four band diadem, eagle to left behind head, rev. archer seated to right LO monogram below bow, crude Greek legend around sides, (cf.S.7472; Sellwood 52.16). Obverse slightly off centred otherwise, extremely fine with gold and red tone.
