ITALY, Lucania, Thurium (Thourioi), (400-350 B.C.), silver distater, (15.38 grams), obv. head of Athena to right wearing crested Athenian helmet, ornamented with figure of Scylla, rev. bull butting to right, YOURIWN above, tunny fish below in exergue, (S.440; SNG ANS 970 (same obv. die); SNG Lloyd 486; Noe NN&M 71 Group F die 32 obverse, 38 reverse). Some minor surface pitting, otherwise very fine and rare.

Noe notes four specimens of this die combination, in all 72 coins in all public and private collections of this Group F.
