GROUP OF FOUR:- 1914 Star - one bar - Aug-Nov; British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal; Long Service and Good Conduct Medal (9GVR) RNVR. S.C.H. Milgate Ab RNVR Collingwood Bttn Rnd rare to an internee. IMpressed. Very fine.

Together with: sporting & arts and crafts medals, large cased silver medal presented by His Majesty's British Consul Groningen 1918 to recipient, various photographs letters, official documents, pen and ink coloured drawing, parole made by recipient, theatre poster and statement of service by commodore, first naval brigade. Able Seaman Sidney Milgate was serving in the First Naval brigade at Antwerp in 1914 when they were forced to retreat into Holland where the whole brigade was interned until the end of the war.
