GROUP OF EIGHT:- Campanion of the Order of the Bath; Campanion of the Order of St Michael and St George; Distinguished Service Order (GVR); 1914-15 Star; British War Medal 1`914-18; Victory Medal (M.I.D.); Colonial Auxiliary Forces Decoration (GVR); Volunteer Long Service Medal (GVR). Brig.; Gen E.P. Martin 1st A.N. & M.E.F. Fourth fifth & sixth medals impressed, last two engraved. Very fine.

Brig. Gen Edward Powell Martin was appointed a major in the 1st AN & MEF and later commander in turn of the 7th Inf Bde and the 5th Inf Bde A.I.F. He was mentioned in despatches on six occasions. Together with: Appointment to the DSO: Photographs, Service Details; Extract from 'Sabretache' and Newspaper cutting.
