QUEEN'S SOUTH AFRICA MEDAL 1899 - FOUR BARS - CAPE COLONY - ORANGE FREE STATE - JOHANNESBURG - DIAMOND HILL. Pte H.C. Hawkner S.A.M.R. Engraved. Very fine, bars loose on ribbon but confirmed.

Henry Colley Hawkner as a member of the 2nd SAMR was a contemporary of 'Breaker' Morant.
