MACEDON, Kingdom of Alexander III (the Great), (336-323 B.C.), stater, 8.48 grams, struck c.325-300 B.C., Uncertain Eastern mint, obv. head of Athena helmeted to right, rev. winged Nike standing to left, no symbol present, (c.S.6705, Price 3991). Very fine and rare.
