ELAGABALUS, (A.D. 218-222), silver denarius, undated issue Rome mint, obv. IMP ANTONINVS PIVS AVG, laureate horned bust draped to right, rev. Elagabalus standing to left holding patera over lighted altar, and club, recumbant bull behind altar, star in field to left, around INVICTVS SACERDOS AVG, (S.2100, RIC 88, C.61). Extremely fine.
