SEPTIMIUS SEVERUS, (A.D.193-211), silver denarius, (2.85 grams), Rome mint, commemorative issue, struck shortly after his death, obv. bearded bare head to right, around DIVO SEVERO PIO, rev. CONSECRATIO around, funeral pyre, (RIC 191f, RSC 89, cf.S.1819). Good very fine and rare.
