LUCIUS VERUS, (A.D. 161-169), sestertius, Rome mint, (27.39 grams), issued A.D. 161, obv. bare bust to right cuirassed, around IMP CAES L AVREL VERVS AVG, rev. Lucius Verus and Marcus Aurelius clasping hands, around CONCORD AVGVSTOR TR P II, in exergue COS II, (cf.S.1546, RIC 1282, C.27, cf.BMC 859). Dark patina, in high relief, very fine and rare.
