FAUSTINA SENIOR, wife of Antoninus Pius, (d.A.D. 141) silver denarius, (3.1 grams), obv. DIVA FAVSTINA, draped bust to right, rev. AETER NITAS, Providentia standing to left, holding globe and veil blowing out behind her head, (cf.S.1348, RSC 32, RIC 351a). Attractive tone, extremely fine and scarce.
