TRAJAN, (A.D.117-138), AE sestertius, Rome mint, issued 103-111, obv. laureate bust of Trajan to right, drapery on left shoulder, [IMP CAES NE]RVAE TRAIAN0 AVG GER DAC P M TR P COS V P P, rev. octastyle temple with portico on either side, in centre Jupiter seated, around S P Q R OPTIMO PRINCIPI, S C in exergue, (S.-, RIC 577, C.549). Has been extensively tooled in the obverse and reverse field, portrait attractive and very fine, otherwisy good fine and a very rare type.
