PONTUS, Amasia, Lucius Verus (A.D. 161-169), AE 32, issued probably A.D. 165, (22.58 grams), obv. laureate bust of Lucius Verus to right draped and cuirassed, around AVT KAIC **L AVPO YHPOCCEB, rev. Marcus Aurelius and Lucius Verus clad in togas facing one another, grasping right hands and holding scrolls, legend around **ADR AM[AS NEWK]K MHTK[PRW PONT], date in exergue off flan, (S.-, BMC 5). Good fine and very scarce.
