THRACE, Kingdom of, Lysimachos, (323-281 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.44 grams), Lampsacus mint, issued 297-281 B.C., obv. head of Alexander to right, with diadem and horn of Ammon, within dotted circle, rev. Athena enthroned to left, supporting Nike, spear behind, on throne star, to left in field plain torch, to left **BASILEWS to right **LUSIMACOU, (cf.S.6814, Thompson 43, Meydancikkale Hoard 2606 [plate 76]). Good very fine and a very rare combination of symbols.
