MACEDON, Kingdom of, Perdikkas II (451-413 B.C.), silver tetrobol, (2.43 grams), Second Series, struck 437/6-432/1 B.C., obv. mounted warrior on horse pacing to right, holding two spears, plant below, rev. forepart of lion to right, all within incuse square, (S.1490, Raymond 210, cf.SNG ANS 60). Good very fine and scarce.
