ITALY, Lucania, Metapontum, (c.400-350 B.C.), silver stater, (7.39 grams), obv. head of Apollo to right, laureate, with **APOL on neck base, rev. corn ear, MET[A] to right, stalk to left, (cf.S.410, Noe [NN&M 47, 1984] 463, SNG ANS 351 [same dies]). Good fine/fine and scarce.
