ITALY, Lucania, Metapontum, (c.400-350 B.C.), silver stater, (7.52 grams), obv. head of female to right, wearing band, all enclosed within wreath, rev. corn ear, ME to right, stalk to left, (cf.S.406, Noe [NN&M 47, 1984] 416, Naville 5, No.450, 451 same dies). Fine and scarce.
