ITALY, Campania, Neapolis (Naples), (c.340-240 B.C.), silver stater or didrachm, (7.115 grams), obv. head of nymph to right, club behind, rev. bull walking to right, crowned by Nike flying right above, below **Q, below exergue [NEOPOLITWN], (cf.S.307, Sambon 480, SNG ANS 476 [same dies]). Toned, dumpy small flan, otherwise very fine and a rare symbol.
