ITALY, Campania, Neapolis (Naples), (c.340-240 B.C.), silver stater or didrachm, (7.60 grams), obv. head of nymph to right, pileus behind, [**HS] monohram before, rev. bull walking to right, crowned by Nike flying right above, below monogram of TMO, below exergue NEOPOLIT[WN], (cf.S.307, Sambon 449, SNG ANS 322 [same dies], SNG Cop. 403 (same dies). Toned, off centred on obverse, very fine and a scarce symbol.
