FAUSTINA SENIOR, wife of Antoninus Pius, (died A.D.141), silver denarius, issued after 141, Rome mint, obv. draped bust to right of Faustina, around DIVA FAVSTINA, rev. Ceres, veiled standing half left, holding corn ears and long lighted torch, around CERES, (BMC 461, RIC 378, C.136, S.1353). Nearly extremely fine.
