PARTHIA, Kingdom of, Phraates III (70-57 B.C.), AE tetrachalkos, (3.58 grams), Ecbatana mint, obv. medium size bare-headed bust to left with long beard, wearing diadem, rev. horse prancing to right, six line inscription, AT monogram in field, another AE dichalkos, (2.11 grams), rev. horse's head right, otherwise similar, (cf.S.7406, 7407, Sellwood 38.19, 38.22, Shore 186, 187). Fine - nearly very fine and scarce. (2)
