PARTHIA, Kingdom of, Darius, (c.70 B.C.) (Shore assigns to Phraates III 70-57 B.C.), silver drachm, (3.90 grams), Susa or Mithradatkart? mint, obv. small size bare-headed bust to left with short beard, wearing diadem, rev. archer seated right on throne, seven line inscription, M below bow in field, type with **FILELLHNOS* as bottom line, (cf.S.7415, cf.Sellwood 36.18, Shore 161 [this coin]). Toned, good very fine and very rare, apparently unpublished except by Shore.
