PARTHIA, Kingdom of, Gortazes I, (95-87 B.C.), silver drachm, (4.08 grams), Rhagae mint, obv. medium sized bust to left with beard, wearing tiara with horn in centre, torque ends in dot, rev. archer seated right on throne, five line inscription, (cf.S.7394, Sellwood 33.6, cf.Shore 117). Very fine and scarce.

Ex. Baldwins, London, December 15, 1988, by private treaty.
