PARTHIA, Kingdom of, Mithradates II, (123-88 B.C.), silver drachm, (4.18 grams), Rhagae mint, obv. medium bust to left with beard, wearing tiara with star in centre, torque ends in sea horse, rev. archer seated right on throne, five line inscription, (cf.S.7372, Sellwood 28.6, cf.Shore 99). Surface adhesion on obverse, otherwise nearly extremely fine and very scarce.
