PARTHIA, Kingdom of, Mithradates II, (123-88 B.C.), silver drachm, (4.17 grams), Ecbatana mint, obv. small bare-headed bust to left with long beard, wearing diadem, sea horse at end of torque, rev. archer seated right on throne, four line inscription, **D* behind, (cf.Sear 7370, Sellwood 26.2, Shore 78). Even grey tone, good very fine and scarce.
