PARTHIA, Kingdom of, Mithradates I, (c.171-138 B.C.), silver drachm, (3.31 grams), Nisa mint, obv. bare headed bearded bust to left with diadem and laurel wreath border, rev. archer seated right on omphalos, three line inscription, (cf.S.7330, Sellwood 11.3, Shore 26). Off centred, otherwise very fine and a rare type.
