BACTRIA, Kingdom of, Euthydemos II, (c.190-185 B.C.), nickel Chalkous, (3.57 grams), Merv mint ?, obv. laureate head of Apollo to right, within dotted border, rev. **BASILEWS EUQUDHMOU in two lines either side of tripod, **FL* monogram in field, (cf.S.7540, M.119, Bop. Series 7A). Well centred, some minor oxidation, nearly very fine and very rare.
