IONIA, Ephesos, (387-295 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (15.27 grams), obv. bee with straight wings, dividing E F, rev. forepart of kneeling stag to right, looking back, palm tree behind, magistrate name of Menekrates, to left **MENEKRATHS, (cf.S.4372, JIAN Vol.II, 240 has published this magistrate, BMC -). Weak on top of bee's head, otherwise very fine and very rare.
