ITALY, Campania, Neapolis (Naples), (c.340-240 B.C.), silver stater or didrachm, (7.40 grams), obv. head of nymph to right, pileus behind, rev. bull walking to right, crowned by Nike flying right above, below monogram of TL(Lamba)D(Delta)O, below exergue [NEOP]OLITW[N], (cf.S.308, Sambon 449c, SNG ANS 323 [same obv. die]). Nearly full flan, very fine and scarce.
