JUSTINIAN I, (A.D.527-565), gold tremissis, Constantinople mint, (1.47 grams), obv. bust of Justinian I to right, with diadem, wearing cuirass and paludamentum, d N IVSTINI ANVS PP A[VI] around, rev. Victory to right, head to left, star in right field, around VICTORIA AVGVSTORVI, CONOB in exergue, (S.145, D.O.19). Some dirt encrustation, otherwise very fine.
