ZENO, (A.D. 474-491), gold solidus, issued in second reign at Constantinople mint in A.D. 476-491, obv. helmeted bust to half right with elaborate dress, holding shield and spear over shoulder, around DN ZENO PERP AVG, rev. Victory standing to left holding long jewelled cross, star in right field, around VICTORI A AVGGG**D*, in exergue CONOB, (RIC 911, cf.S.4385). Good very fine and scarce.
