SOUTH AUSTRALIA, Wallaroo, fantasy gold coins (10) in custom made wooden case all from the one pair of dies simulating doubloons of the 17th and early 18th century (pirate treasure) with VOC (Netherlands East India Company initials) and dated 1701. Weight of each 12.2 grams, total pure gold 1.5 ounces. The lid of case inscribed 'Capt. Antong/Wallaroo/In Appreciation/Jan Van Work/1887.' Good extremely fine. (10)
